THIS IS JAPANESE NEW YEAR'S EVE.
Toshikoshi noodles are what many people in Japan eat on New Years Eve.
The noodles’ long skinny shape symbolizes longevity of life; and because the noodles are also soft and easy to cut, people hope to cut out this year’s misfortune and instead invite good luck!
You can enjoy this Japanese tradition with our Handmade Toshikoshi Udon!
We have 3 choices of Toshikoshi Fresh Udon Set and 2 add options:
1. Niku Kinoko (Beef and Mushroom)
2. Miso-Shippoku (Simmered Chicken and Veg)
3. Kitsune (Fried Thin Tofu)
4. Fresh Udon Noodles
5. Fresh Udon Soup
Toshikoshi Fresh Udon Set comes with 1LB of fresh noodles, 2 cups of our house-made soup, and a variety of toppings as explained below. Green onion and shredded ginger are included in all sets.
Each Set is enough for 2-3 people.
Boil the noodles for 6 minutes, heat up other toppings and soup, mix them up in a big bowl and enjoy!
Order online by December 29th and pick up at your desired time on December 31st.
Pick up will be availible12pm-2pm & 5:30pm-8pm.

1. Niku Kinoko
Niku Kinoko, or Beef and Mushroom has been our classic for take-out Fresh Udon Set.
You can enjoy the taste of Signature Beef with three types of mushrooms and flower-shaped carrots.
This is the only menu that you can try deep fried fish cake with seaweed (Chikuwa no Isobe-age) as well!!

2. Miso-Shippoku
Miso-Shippoku, or Simmered Chicken and Vegetable reflects a Japanese style winter dish.
Miso-Shippoku consists of squash, fish cake, and various of root vegetables such as carrots, burdock root, lotus root, and yam.
It comes with deep fried maitake mushroom (Maitake Tempura) and miso soup!

3. Kitsune
Kitsune, or Fried Thin Tofu
In this dish, we have three large slices of house prepared fried tofu called Abura-age. This comes with fish cake, kamaboko, seaweed and a house fried burdock root (Gobo Tempura)!!

You also can order extra Fresh Udon Noodles (Nama Men) and Fresh Dashi Soup.
1LB of noodles is good for 2-3 people and a cup of soup is typically good for 1-2 people.
